Do I need an internet connection?

No. Housel operates 100% offline. All reminders and database entries are stored locally on your device. Internet is only required if you choose to sign in with Google or Apple for cross-device cloud backups.

How do notifications work?

Housel schedules notifications natively on your operating system (Apple APNS / Android Local Notifications) 1 day early and on the due date. They fire even if the app is closed.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Go to Settings > Backup Options > "Export Data Backup" at any time to download a complete, unencrypted JSON archive of all your bills, warranties, vendors, and vehicle records.
